Low Intensity Therapist

As a low intensity therapist you would work with low to moderate severity cases of mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. You would deliver excellent volume, low intensity, evidence based clinical interventions, normally cognitive behavioural and self-management interventions. You can deliver these interventions to individuals face-to-face or over the phone, or to groups.

Skills Required 

~ Good communication skills with colleagues and clients

~ Be able to work in a team well

~ excellent administration, time keeping and organisation skills

~ Ability to maintain accurate admin records at a excellent standard of presentation

~ Be able to plan, prioritise and organise workload and work to tight time scales

~ Be able to have flexible work hours if necessary

~ Be empathetic and understanding towards people and their needs

~ Be genuine and non-judgemental

~ Have a positive attitude towards change

~ Have a excellent record of attendance

~ Ability to exercise discretion and be diplomatic

~ Ability to work as an individual to achieve goals

~ Have a good understanding of the cognitive behavioural model
