Thinking of applying for a job but not sure how to write a CV? Or are you worried about how the interview will go?

BU offers loads of services that many students do not realise. Therefore, as much as possible as been placed in this toolkit, saving you time!

If you need to speak to someone in person about anything relating to careers, employability and so on, here are some contacts:

  • Your Personal Tutor! In the first and second year, students have a personal tutor that they meet with occasionally. Final year students have their project supervisor who acts as their personal tutor.

  • Need to speak directly to a member of staff? Here is a list of the Department of Psychology at BU

  • Your Careers Advisor or Placement Coordinator. Not sure who that is? Check here.

Below are links to all the services you can access from the Careers and Employability Services.

A book-in or drop in session, or via telephone and Skype, advice and guidance can be given by careers advisors which can also be attached to the course students are on.
